About the BECC conference: The annual Behavior Energy Climate Change (BECC) conference strives to inspire, educate, and motivate the community of people who are building knowledge about human and organizational behavior as they relate to decision-making to address energy/climate change challenges. The expertise of the BECC community spans the social sciences and humanities, as they are complemented by the physical sciences and engineering fields.
About the Precourt Fellowships: To help develop the pipeline of knowledgeable researchers and educators in the BECC community, in 2008 Stanford’s Precourt Energy Efficiency Center initiated the “Precourt Fellows” program to encourage students and post-docs at a critical stage in their academic careers. Over 400 Precourt Fellowships have been awarded over the years, with current funding graciously provided by the Sloan Foundation.
